Roger Cross was born in Christina, Jamaica on the 19th of October. He lived there with his family until he was 11, when they relocated to Canada. Graduating from Burnaby Central high school with honors, Roger initially trained to become a pilot. He gained a degree in Aviation and general studies from Trinity Western, and despite taking drama he never envisaged it as a career. That all changed in 1990 when, after having taken a few small roles and stunt jobs, he won a role in The International Rescue. From there he was sold, and having previously been studying acting as a hobby he made the decision to commit to it fully for a year, to see if it was really what he wanted...he never looked back. |
